Event Description

GOG's version is also completely DRM-free, though it requires registration to patch the game. GOG says it will update the game in "several months for users who do not care to register their copy."In celebration of the new game's impending release, Good Old FIFA games has also re-released the original game from 2007 for the sale price of $4.99 - this is cheaper than it is on Steam, at least for now, and also includes a bunch of goodies, including a soundtrack, calendar, artbook and a selection of avatars and wallpapers. The low price will last until May 24, after which it'll go back to being $9.99.Wherever you might want to pick up The Witcher and its sequel from, there's a wide choice of goodies you can get your hands on, it seems. This ut coins article originally appeared on GamePro as The Witcher 2 Ready for Release Alice: Madness Returns Bonuses. We've known for a while that console customers who purchase a brand new copy of Alice: Madness Returns will get a "free" copy of the original Alice as the game's "online pass" content, but EA hadn't mentioned the PC version specifically. Now, it's been confirmed a special compilation package, dubbed Alice: Madness Returns -- The Complete Collection, will include both the new game and the surreal original. The double pack will apparently only be available via the EA Store.EA also confirmed that customers on all platforms who pre-order the game through FIFA gamestop, Amazon or the EA Store will receive a code to download a ten-track digital soundtrack by former Nine Inch Nails drummer Chris Vrenna. The offer expires on June 13, the day before the game releases, and you'll have until September 13 to redeem it.This article originally appeared on GamePro as Alice: Madness Returns Bonuses Xbox 360 Spring Update on May 19. The annual Spring Update for the Xbox 360 Dashboard is apparently coming before the end of the month, and it adds a handful of useful features.A Microsoft tech support employee sent the below image to Joystiq yesterday as advance notice of the upcoming Spring Update to the Xbox 360 Dashboard.According to the documents sent to Joystiq, the new update doesn't offer much in the way of new features, but it does allow users to choose PayPal as their preferred payment method of choice for "points, content and subscriptions purchased on the Xbox 360 console". As a matter of fact, logging in to the Microsoft Billing site already allows you to choose PayPal as a method of payment, though the new update will presumably allow this to be set up on the console. This is particularly relevant at this time, given the concerns over online security that have stemmed from the recent PSN debacle. The update will also introduce support for the higher-capacity Xbox Game Disc Format (XGD3) media which promises to be "used in future game titles releasing later in 2011." The new media format promises "additional storage space on a game disc, and provides additional layers of copy protection.
